Status messages concerning Whozon. I will post a message here if I am working on fixing a problem, if the site goes down for any reason etc.

Color Scheme Editor

Post by admin »

I am adding a Color Scheme Editor to Whozon, that will allow you to edit and use your own color scheme if you don't like the existing ones I have built. It should be working soon. You will be able to create up to 10 different color schemes for your own use, although down the road I may add any great looking results to the official list.

Just an update on this, the Color Scheme editor has been added to Whozon. A few points:

When you first start up Whozon you will be shown a grey-scale version of the UI. This is necessary as a default setting. You can change this by clicking on the Settings button (which opens the Settings Panel) and selecting one of the color schemes I have defined already, or by clicking on Create Your Own which will take you to the Color Scheme editor and let you define your own scheme.

Again when you arrive at the Editor, you will see the Greyscale version of the UI. You can change the colors for various elements by changing the 6-digit hex code for each element. There is a link to an HTML color picker that will open in a new tab. The scheme you create in the Editor will be saved as a personal scheme for you when you click on the Save button. If you then return to Whozon you can select that scheme from the drop down menu (you will probably have to refresh the page first), and then that scheme will be applied to your Whozon display.

Note: you can only have up to 10 personal color schemes saved in the database at any one time (there is a counter displayed on the Scheme Editor page). If you have 10 already defined you will not be able to create another one without deleting one of the saved ones.
