I am ThatFontGuy on Twitch.tv. I have been streaming for over 3 years, starting a few months before the Pandemic hit us. I play mostly older MMORPG titles – specifically Dark Age of Camelot, City of Heroes, and Star Wars Galaxies, although I have ventured into other games including Palia, Valheim, and No Man’s Sky.
I create constructed languages (Conlangs) and constructed writing systems (Conscripts or Neography) thus the Twitch handle. I have worked for the BBC on a children’s TV show, and created a Conlang and writing system for a pen and paper RPG called The Nuadan Chronicles.
I have done a bit of everything so far in my life, from being a Radio Operator in the Canadian Special Service force, to script researcher for film and television, script consultant on a kid’s computer game, webmaster for several tech companies, and a computer developer building web-based applications. I have worked construction, worked retail in a shop selling motorcycle gear and even in the parts department at a Harley-Davidson dealership.
Most recently I have been working on this project, hoping to build a useful tool for my fellow streamers on Twitch.
